We are pleased to announce registration has officially opened for the WCRP Summer Conference & Board Meeting! Join us in Spokane County, as the Board makes important decisions on the upcoming fiscal year! Thursday morning will consist of educational sessions and a Board of Directors’ workshop, leading into the action packed 2-day annual Board meeting.

OVERNIGHT LODGING: |
A block of rooms at The Davenport Grand has been set aside for attendees at a special group rate. The room block cut-off date is Tuesday, June 20th or until depleted - don’t wait to book! Book your lodging online or by phone: - Group Reservation Link - Please carefully review pre-filled dates and edit as needed prior to booking. - Call (509) 458-3330; press 1 to for reservations, and 1 again to make a new reservation. Please provide the Group Code “Washington Counties Risk Pool” to the agent for booking within the room block. Special Notes - Reservations must be made by the above-mentioned cutoff date. Reservations received thereafter will be considered on a space and rate availability basis. - A credit card is required at booking and is also required at check in. A pre-authorization in the amount of the reserved room charges will be place at check in and the card will be charged at check out. The pre-authorization may take 5-7 business days to fall off, depending on your financial institution. - To modify or cancel your lodging reservation please use the link provided within your booking confirmation email, or call the property directly using the number listed above. If calling, press 1 for reservations, and 3 to modify an existing reservation under a group. - Individual cancellations must be made at least 48-hours prior to arrival time to avoid same day cancellation/no-show fees. (Cancellations/no-show fees are not eligible for reimbursement). - If you require special accommodations or an ADA room for your stay, please let Member Services know by emailing MemberServices@wcrp.wa.gov. |
WCRP REIMBURSEMENTS: |
The WCRP will reimburse attendees in accordance with the Travel Reimbursement Guide. All costs being submitted for reimbursement will require accompanying receipts and documentation along with the completed Travel Expense Voucher. Please note details regarding the following reimbursements. Travel/Lodging/Parking – Those traveling more than 50 miles one way, or those closer than 50 miles that are attending later afternoon/evening events followed by the next day’s morning sessions, are eligible for lodging reimbursements. Room charges and meals not provided at the event are to be paid by the attendee or county. The WCRP will reimburse up to two nights lodging (Wednesday and Thursday) and self-parking costs (up to $25/day) for the Board Director, the Claims Administrator, and the Risk Manager based upon the Travel Reimbursement Guide and for only the days noted. For those not lodging overnight, parking will be reimbursed up to $25/day. Meals – Meals provided by the WCRP are not eligible for meal cost reimbursement. Meals indicated on the schedule as “Dinner on your own” will qualify for reimbursement and will be subject to guidelines in the Travel Reimbursement Guide. Guests are welcome to accompany you at mealtimes provided by the WCRP. For accompanying guests, fees will apply as follows: $10/pp for lunch and/or breakfast and/or receptions and $20/pp for the offsite dinner taking place Thursday evening. Please indicate if any guests and how many will be joining you during any of the WCRP provided mealtimes at registration to ensure proper head count. It is preferred that payment be made after the event, either by check issued to the WCRP, or by deducting the cost from your reimbursement totals on your Travel & Expense Voucher. |
DISTANCING PROTOCOLS: |
Attendee safety continues to be a priority for WCRP. Per state & local mandates, masks are welcomed at the event but are not required. Hand sanitizer will be available onsite, along with a color system on name badges to indicate your personal comfort levels with social distancing (green: handshakes approved; yellow: no touching; red: greet from 6 feet). If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have a known direct exposure, please do not attend the event, and contact Member Services to let us know you will not be attending. |
