A block of rooms at Semiahmoo Resort has been set aside for attendees at a special group rate of $159 per night, with the $40/night resort fee waived. The room block cut-off is 5:00 PM September 28 or until depleted – don’t wait to book!  

Two ways to reserve your lodging:
1. Online booking link: Semiahmoo Resort Golf & Spa – carefully review dates selected prior to booking

2. Call (360) 318-2000 and press 2 for Reservations. When booking, provide your check-in and check-out dates along with Group Code “59179A” to secure a room within the WCRP Fall Conference block.

Key Information:
  - Booking Deadline: Reservations must be made by 5:00 PM September 28 to guarantee the group rate. After this date, rooms will be subject to availability.
  - Phone Reservations – Best Times to Call: To avoid longer wait times, please avoid calling during check-in at 4:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM.
  - Extended Stays: The group rate is available for up to two nights before and two nights after the conference, based on availability. Additional nights are at the attendee's own expense.
   
Room Amenities:
  - All guest rooms come with mini-fridges, microwaves and coffee makers.
  
Accessibility:
  - Inventory is limited, so be sure to book right away and indicate your needs at booking. If additional assistance is needed, please contact 360-318-2064 or Member Services.
   
Payment & Cancellation:
  - A credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. At check-in, the card will be authorized for the total room rate and tax, plus $100 per night for anticipated incidental charges. The incidental hold may take 7-10 business days after checkout to be released.
  - Individual cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation or no-show fee. Please note, these fees are non-reimbursable.
  - Incidentals, pet fees, and room enhancements are not eligible for reimbursement.

Special Notes:
  - The $40 nightly resort fee is waived for WCRP attendees. It may appear during booking or in your confirmation email, but it is not included in your total.
  - The entire resort is a non-smoking facility.

The WCRP reimburses attendees in accordance with the Travel Policy and Travel Reimbursement Guide. All costs submitted for reimbursement must be submitted within 60 days following the event and require itemized receipts and printouts from an online mapping service for proof of mileage, along with a completed Travel & Expense Voucher. Please note the following reimbursement details:

Lodging: Those traveling more than 50 miles one way, or those closer than 50 miles who are attending later afternoon/evening events followed by the next day’s morning sessions, are eligible for lodging reimbursements. Room charges are to be paid by the attendee or county. The WCRP reimburses up to two nights lodging at the group rate (Wednesday and Thursday) for up to three people per county, based upon the Travel Reimbursement Guide and for only the days noted. Please seek pre-approval if you wish to send more than three people.

Mileage: The WCRP reimburses mileage for one vehicle per county. If carpooling is not feasible and additional mileage reimbursements or other arrangements are needed, please seek pre-approval.

Meals: Meals provided during the event are not eligible for meal cost/per diem reimbursement and are limited to no more than three people per county. 

Guests: Attendees are welcome to bring guests to the welcome dinner and WCRP provided meals. Fees are $17/person for breakfasts, $20/person for lunches, and $31/person for dinners. Guest attendance should be included with event registration to ensure an accurate head count. Payment is preferred after the event, either by check issued to the WCRP or by deducting the cost from reimbursement totals on the Travel & Expense Voucher.
