Lexipol 80/80/80 Policy Manual Reimbursements


OVERVIEW

Member counties are eligible for 80% reimbursement of their Lexipol law enforcement policy manual update and custody policy manual update subscriptions approximately six months after renewal, provided the eligibility criteria outlined below are met.

This reimbursement is intended to support counties in maintaining current, compliant policy manuals that reflect best practices and evolving legal standards. Reimbursement applies only to Lexipol policy manual update subscriptions for law enforcement and custody. Other Lexipol products or services are not eligible under this program.

By maintaining updated policy manuals, counties support consistent operations, strengthen risk management practices, and help reduce liability exposure associated with outdated or incomplete policies.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A member county’s law enforcement and/or custody department may qualify for reimbursement approximately six months after subscription renewal, provided all of the following criteria are met:

  • 80% of policies customized to your agency are issued
  • 80% of agency selected daily training bulletins are completed
  • 80% of the most recent year's updates have been addressed

To verify eligibility, WCRP will review a quarterly health report produced by Lexipol at the time a reimbursement request is submitted. Counties do not need to provide separate documentation demonstrating progress.

REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST PROCESS

  1. Obtain Supporting documentation:
    • Lexipol invoice(s) paid by the county
    • Corresponding county/department W9
  2. Complete the Lexipol Reimbursement Request Form.
  3. Send the request form and supporting documentation to your county Risk Manager.
  4. The county Risk Manager submits the request to MemberServices@wcrp.wa.gov.
  5. WCRP will review the request within 14 business days and communicate any questions and the final decision to the county Risk Manager.
